Cat urine cleaning products or urine in general is a yucky topic period. Every day in our service business well almost every day we deal with urine.

Most people think by getting there carpet cleaned and not telling the cleaner will rid their carpets of urine....False and now disappointed

How to get rid of urine...first you have to find it. =Use a black light...you can buy a cheap one at a pet supply store and hunt it down..room must be dark, better to do this at night and the urine will glow yellow/green(don't worry you'll see it)

Note: The only full proof way is to tear out your carpet,pad,tack strip, clean floor and then seal the floor, clean carpet front and back.Be honest with yourself you know if you need to do this.

Ok, getting back to treating urine deposits: you found one (cats like the outside of the room corners and bottom of furniture, dogs go out in the open)This is where 98% goes wrong....they don't pour enough cat urine cleaning products on the spot,you have to make contact with the urine to remove it.

Think about this the next time you go,have you ever given a urine sample..didn't think you had 12 to 16oz in ya. Now if you pour this into the carpet you only see a 2" spot..but you have 16oz of urine in your carpet, pad, and sub floor,now do this 2,3,4 times you get the idea. Pour at least 32oz of urine cleaning product in the middle of the spot(put it in the same way your pet put it in)and squish it around so it penetrates the carpet pad...then let it work 1-2 days. You may have to repeat (never use hot water use warm to cool)

Home remedy : 50/50 mix of white vintager and warm water,blot using white towels,sprinkle baking powder over spot,let dry completely then vacuum, or you can suck it out with your wet vac.
