Often we find that carpet retailers and installers are not interested in repairing carpet they did not sell nor are they interested in doing small jobs for individuals. Note: Always make repairs prior to any type of cleaning. Carpet will last longer when properly stretched. Padding is important. Too thin, too thick, or soft pad will result in premature wearing. High density padding is recommended by the Carpet and Rug Institute. For cleaning, I highly recommend hot water soil extraction by a professional cleaner.

Carpet Repair Prices:

* Minimum Charge $110.00 Labor (up to 1 hour) plus cost of supplies used.

* Additional time is based on $50.00 per hour after initial first hour and is prorated for any portion of a partial hour in 15 minute increments.

* Hourly type charges are implemented to be fair to both customer and contractor. Length of time will be discussed at time of job.

* Re-stretch charges are based on a minimum of $110.00 and will cover up to and including 37.5 square yards (an area approximately 12' x 28') or combination of areas. When areas exceed this amount, then a price of $2.00 per square yard, or $.32 per square foot is charged. If any seams need remade the cost is $2.50 per lineal foot.

* Tackstrip replacement - 1" wide is $.25 per lineal foot, 2" wide is $.50 per lineal foot

* Doorway or room separation metals - wood subfloor is $1.00 per lineal foot, concrete subfloor is $2.00 per lineal foot * Pad replacement bid per job

* Flooded carpet areas removal/replacement bid per job
